Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research seeks a Financial Analyst in Commercial Strategy & Analytics to turn pipeline, bookings, and revenue data into actionable insights that drive sponsor targeting and sales execution across Velocity’s global site network.

You will build segmentation models, dashboards, and KPI reporting; ensure data integrity across CRM and financial systems; and partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to inform strategic planning.

Qualifications

Proficiency with CRM data (Salesforce) and data visualization tools.
Advanced Excel skills with complex modeling; Power Query a plus.
Experience turning data into actionable insights for business strategy.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical/biotech clinical trial environments is a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholders.
Two to five years in FP&A, investment banking, or revenue analytics.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain sponsor and CRO segmentation models based on market data.
Analyze win/loss and award trends to inform market positioning.
Design, build, and maintain sales dashboards covering pipeline and revenue by account.
Define and report KPIs aligned with business objectives and targets.
Track pipeline progression, identify bottlenecks, and recommend actions.
Partner with Business Development to develop account plans for key sponsors.
Reconcile CRM data with financial systems and ensure data integrity.
Forecast inputs for bookings, backlog, and revenue using historical trends.
