Job summary

Velocity-Clinical-Research,-Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst for Commercial Strategy & Analytics to turn pipeline, bookings, and revenue data into actionable intelligence that drives sponsor targeting and sales execution across Velocity’s global site network.

You will build segmentation models, dashboards, and KPI reporting, ensuring data integrity and consistency across CRM and financial systems. Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations will be essential to identify growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, FP&A, commercial finance, or revenue analytics.
• Prior experience in clinical research or life sciences strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sponsor and CRO segmentation models based on market analysis.
• Analyze win/loss rates and award trends to generate actionable insights.
• Design, build, and maintain sales dashboards covering pipeline, bookings, revenue by account, segment, and territory.
• Define, monitor, and report on sales KPIs and communicate performance metrics.
• Track sales advancement through pipeline stages and identify bottlenecks.
• Partner with Business Development to build account plans and growth targets.
• Oversee data integrity of commercial reporting and reconcile CRM with financial systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop forecasting inputs tied to bookings and revenue.
• Support market sizing, competitive positioning, and pricing analyses.
• Provide data-driven insights to guide strategic planning for commercial leadership.
