Job summary

Saint-Gobain is seeking a Commercial Analyst to provide financial analysis on commercial performance and margins across products and customers. You will support sales, product management, finance, and senior management with decision analytics and profitability insights.

You will analyze price/volume/mix, drive margin improvements, and develop automated reporting tools (Qlikview, GL Wands, Power BI) to support strategic decisions. Strong Excel and SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with analysis experience.
• MBA degree in Finance or CPA, CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related business experience with profitability analysis.
• Advanced data management and modeling skills; proficient in Excel.
• Experience with SAP and BI tools is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product, customer, and geographic sales performance and margins.
• Support pricing, new product launches, and S&OP with profitability insights.
• Develop automated reports to highlight key variances and profitability impacts.
• Assist in monthly close, forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
