Job summary

Brown & Brown in Plano, Texas seeks a Commercial Account Executive to build and expand client relationships, coordinating with internal resources to address underwriting, policy, accounting, and claims issues. You will lead renewal efforts, negotiate pricing, and ensure service excellence for middle-market accounts.

The role requires a strong knowledge of commercial lines, at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Active Texas General Agent’s License is required.
• 5+ years of generalist commercial insurance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• AMS360 experience and ImageRight proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor insurance documents to reflect quoted and bound coverages.
• Negotiate commission/fee-based pricing ensuring profitability.
• Lead renewal process by obtaining quotes and claims data from carriers.
• Collaborate with Producers and Marketing to achieve new and renewal goals.
• Assist Producers with new business calls and implementation for assigned accounts.
• Manage renewal processes for Select middle-market accounts as directed.
