Job summary

Brown & Brown in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to serve as the main client contact for an assigned book of business. You will coordinate services, address underwriting, policy, and claims issues, and support retention and growth of client relationships.

You will mentor teammates and work with producers on client visits, renewals, and coverage reviews, ensuring accurate information and timely delivery of services to insureds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial accounts.
• General coverage knowledge and ability to counsel.
• AE/AM/Producer account partnership development.
• Accompany producer to client visits/presentations.
• Insurance coverage review - prepare with summary & give to producer for completion with the insured.
• Get renewal applications and copies of prior applications.
• Order current loss runs and other documents needed in the renewal/marketing process.
• Submit complete and accurate renewal information to the incumbent carrier(s).
• Issue binders, auto ID cards and order renewal certificates of insurance.
• Provide services or coordinate carrier services as needed, such as claim reviews, loss control visits and services, and premium allocations.
