Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Executive to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the cold storage market.

You will lead proactive outbound prospecting, build executive relationships, and drive early-stage opportunities for large, complex refrigeration design-build projects. Responsibilities include market expansion, enterprise sales, and strategic growth while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to shape

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
• Proven outbound prospecting and business development ability.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to travel regularly for customer meetings.
• Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Occasionally may lift or carry items up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within target markets, focusing on cold storage.
• Own the front end of the sales process from initial contact through qualification.
• Develop pursuit strategies for large, complex design-build and EPC projects.
• Maintain engagement with opportunities through full sales lifecycle for win potential.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with marketing and inside sales to align outreach and account coverage.
