Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal ProServe Cloud Architect for Strategic Accounts in California.

You will design scalable, secure AWS solutions for high-technology customers and act as a liaison between ProServe Account Executives and delivery teams to ensure feasible implementations. You will provide pre-sales guidance, lead large-scale workload migrations, and advise on emerging technologies, data privacy, and IP protection, driving measurable business outcomes and customer

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
• Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
• Experience with software development life cycle (sdlc) and agile/iterative methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure AWS solutions for Strategic Accounts - Software and High Technology Customers, including agentic solutions, data context, migrations and modernization
• Provide technical guidance during pre-sales and implementation, translating hi-tech business structures into solution architectures
• Lead modernization-at-scale of workloads to AWS and Cloud Ops/FinOps best practices for moving customers past POC and benchmarking paralysis into production scale
• Collaborate with Account Managers and SDTs to ensure proposals address IP protection, and data privacy obligations unique to hi-tech design and manufacturing customers
• Advise customers on emerging technologies: Agentic use cases, High Performance Compute and resilient architectures
• Share knowledge through mentoring, training, and reusable artifacts that capture the regulatory and business patterns unique to this vertical
