Job summary

The Google Cloud Platform team is seeking a Strategic Architect in California to drive cloud transformation for clients. You will shape architecture, align Google Cloud tools with client needs, and guide delivery from planning through execution.

As a Senior technical leader, you’ll meet with clients to translate business goals into scalable cloud patterns, coordinate with partners, and help scale solutions across engagements while ensuring security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Four year college education or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of involvement with virtualization or cloud local designs in a client-facing role.
• Experience performing technical introductions or public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Develop the internal organization with field and executive leaders that drive core initiatives and achieve success.
• Work out a velocity model that identifies key moments to accelerate client and account success.
• Build a collaborative practice that integrates Google Cloud products and technical expertise into a complete implementation plan.
• Improve client and Google Cloud insights by smoothing the pre to post sales process.
• Plan an enablement approach and metrics to scale initiatives identified by the North America Architect team.
