Merck & Co. is seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Planning Lead to shape and execute end-to-end planning strategies for Global Clinical Supply. You will partner with Pharmaceutical Sciences and Quality to drive alignment, efficiency, and compliance across a multi-country clinical supply footprint.

The role emphasizes KPI development, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership in a matrix environment. Hybrid work arrangements are available within the West Point, PA area.

Qualifications

• BS with 10+ years of experience, MS with 8+ years, or PhD with 6+ years in a scientific, business, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning and end-to-end processes.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Proven ability to influence in a matrix environment without direct authority.
• Experience driving process improvements and transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.

Responsabilités

• Define, maintain and improve KPIs for end-to-end planning, showing portfolio health and performance.
• Partner with stakeholders to establish KPI definitions, data sources, reporting cadences, and governance.
• Create principles for siting, capacity and portfolio prioritization across materials and packaging.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen end-to-end planning and drive alignment.
• Act as SME for planning standards, governance, scenario planning and continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior staff and support onboarding and change-management activities.
