Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Supply Project Manager for Global Clinical Supply Planning. This senior role leads program-level planning, coordinating clinical development, CMC, supply chain, and external partners to ensure steady drug supply across trials.

You will design strategic and operational plans for all clinical supply activities within assigned programs. You will manage timelines for bulk manufacturing, develop consolidated SAP forecasts, and oversee allocation

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in clinical supply planning, scheduling, and related biopharmaceutical functions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle and MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Lead program-level GCS Planning representation in meetings with clinical development, regulatory, and quality teams.
• Establish timelines for bulk manufacturing needs and drug product release across assigned programs.
• Maintain consolidated forecasts in SAP for all products in the program.
• Oversee bulk drug supply management and allocation across studies within programs.
• Identify and escalate significant supply risks; support budget and cost estimates for programs.
• Author documentation for labeling/packaging and CMC-related supply chain activities.
• Mentor new team members and support staff development.
