Compensation Jobs at CSU San Bernardino seeks an Analyst to support Classification & Compensation Services. You will conduct classification reviews, perform market studies, and assist in salary negotiations, interpreting CBAs and complex standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or Public Administration and at least three years of progressive administrative experience with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of public and business administration, operational, and fiscal management.
  • Utilize survey techniques, analyses, and research methods to develop sound conclusions and policies.
  • Ability to understand problems broadly and develop strategic solutions.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with internal and external groups.
  • Proficiency in organizing, analyzing, and presenting data.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive records.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment and education laws.
  • Proficiency with standard office software including MS Office, Zoom, LMS, Adobe, and Google Drive.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of administration, operations, and fiscal management.
  • Use survey techniques and research methods to inform policies.
  • Support classification reviews and salary negotiations.
  • Coordinate with HR Employee & Labor Relations and Procurement.
  • Prepare correspondence and support grievance processes.
  • Analyze data and projections to aid management decisions.
  • Lead or assist staff as needed and manage multiple priorities.
