Job summary

Orange County Fire Authority is seeking a highly analytical, technically adept HR professional to join the Human Resources Department as a Senior HR Analyst. The role leads classification and compensation initiatives, performs job analysis, and supports labor negotiations with market research and policy guidance.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in HR management or related field and have at least three years of professional HR experience, preferably in government; SHRM-CP/SCP,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business or public administration, industrial psychology, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of professional HR administration experience.
Government HR experience is highly desirable and certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead classification and compensation initiatives, including job analysis, desk audits, organizational reviews and salary administration.
Develop and maintain class specifications and compensation plans; evaluate positions for internal equity.
Support labor negotiations with compensation research and analysis; provide policy guidance and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate benefits, leave programs and position control as needed within the division.
