Job summary

Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) is seeking an experienced Account Manager with strong TPA or claims background to manage client relationships and optimize outcomes across auto liability, general liability, and workers’ compensation programs.

You will serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal claims teams, leading reviews, monitoring performance, and driving improvements throughout each account’s lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience within a TPA, insurance carrier, or claims organization.
• Strong background in auto liability, general liability, and/or workers’ compensation claims.
• Proven experience in a client-facing, consultative, or account management role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, onboarding through renewal.
• Lead client meetings and claims reviews, presenting actionable insights on performance.
• Monitor claims handling quality and TPA performance to meet standards.
• Collaborate with adjusters and leadership to resolve escalations and improve outcomes.
• Analyze claims data to recommend cost containment and optimization strategies.
• Support smooth transition of new accounts and reporting during implementation.
• Assist with contracts, renewals, and financial reconciliation including costs.
