Macy's in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal to support our in-house litigation team across the nationwide uninsured docket. You will manage case files, assist with discovery, and prepare deposition and trial materials.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate, strong organization, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and litigation-support tools; related experience in medium to large law firms is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate required.
Minimum of five years' experience in a legal environment (bachelor's) or ten years' experience (paralegal certificate only).
Experience in class action and wage-and-hour litigation preferred.
Proficiency with Word and Excel; familiarity with other MS Office apps (Access) expected.
Experience with legal hold, document/email collection and review software preferred.

Responsibilities

Support all phases of the litigation process, including intake, investigation, discovery, trial preparation, arbitration, appeal, and resolution.
Organize and maintain case files, documents, and databases with accuracy and accessibility.
Draft and issue preservation notices and legal holds; track responses.
Prepare exhibits, timelines, production charts, and case summaries for depositions, trials, and arbitrations.
Collaborate with attorneys, business partners, clients, and external counsel to progress cases.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive legal information professionally.
