Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Risk Management Manager to lead CIP governance and the financial performance of the enterprise CIP portfolio from our Detroit headquarters. You will coordinate with executives, brokers, and project teams to align CIP strategies with project delivery and business development goals.

The role requires strong risk management leadership, deep CIP/OCIP knowledge, and the ability to translate complex insurance and financial data into clear actions for senior leadership and field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in construction risk management, insurance programs, or wrap‑up administration.
• Direct experience with CCIPs and/or OCIPs, including enrollment, payroll, compliance, reporting, and closeout processes.
• Strong financial acumen with forecasting, budgeting, cost analysis, reporting, and presenting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead CIP governance and enterprise oversight for CCIP and OCIP requirements.
• Oversee enrollment metrics, payroll submissions, reporting, and closeout activities.
• Develop CIP processes, controls, and documentation standards across the enterprise.
• Communicate CIP status and insights to executive leadership and project teams.
