Job summary

NSA is seeking Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support the SIGINT mission, with paths through the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire into analytic roles. The position emphasizes Chinese language proficiency and analytical excellence.

MDLAs engage with partners across the Intelligence Community, perform translation and transcription, and develop reports that inform policymakers.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading/listening for target language.
• Experience in language work (translation, transcription, analysis) or related intelligence field.
• Eligibility for NSA DCIPS and U.S. government employment processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT reporting and development.
• Prepare written and oral assessments with actionable insights for policymakers and analysts.
• Mentor and coach other language analysts; ensure quality and timely delivery of products.
• Work with internal tools and maintain technical health of the mission.
• Engage with partners across the IC to fulfill analytic requirements.
