Job summary

First Resource Bank seeks an Executive Vice President & Chief Risk Officer to lead enterprise risk management, compliance and regulatory initiatives. This role reports to the President & CEO and partners with the Board to align risk with strategic growth.

The CRO will drive risk governance, cyber and third-party risk programs, and act as a trusted strategic advisor on risk implications for major initiatives and technology investments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of banking risk, compliance or related experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role with enterprise risk focus.
• Experience with risk governance, regulatory expectations and board reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise risk management framework, including risk taxonomy, policies and escalations.
• Provide executive leadership to risk committees and board communications.
• Oversee cyber, third-party, data and technology risk management programs.
• Coordinate internal audit and regulatory examination readiness.
• Build and mentor a high-performing risk, compliance and audit team.
