Job summary

First Resource Bank is seeking an Executive Vice President & Chief Risk Officer to lead enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance and risk governance. The CRO will report to the President & CEO, advise the Board, and drive a scalable risk framework aligned with growth, technology, and regulatory changes.

The role demands deep regulatory credibility, strategic thinking and a collaborative, credible-challenge culture across risk, operations and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years in banking risk, compliance, audit or financial services.
• Senior leadership experience with enterprise risk management.
• Experience communicating with bank regulators and boards.
• Ability to scale governance and control environments in growing institutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of the enterprise risk management program.
• Provide executive leadership to risk governance bodies and board committees.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, CRA, AML, and cyber risk programs.
• Partner with CIO/InfoSec on technology, data and third-party risks.
• Mentor teams, build succession plans and foster a culture of credible challenge.
