Job summary

Farm Credit Services seeks a Senior Vice President & Chief Risk Officer to provide strategic leadership on the Executive Management Team by advancing the Association’s enterprise risk management program. This role partners with the Board of Directors and executive leadership to strengthen risk management, support sound business decisions, and foster a proactive, enterprise-wide risk-aware culture.

Required include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 10 years in banking/finance

Qualifications

• Knowledge of enterprise risk management principles, policies, and risk-aware culture.
• Knowledge of corporate finance principles, credit concepts, laws, banking regulations, and agricultural industry principles.
• Ability to identify key issues, evaluate complex matters, and make data-based decisions.
• Strong communication skills to present information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document information for decision-making.
• Leadership to develop teams and maintain external relationships.
