Gurr Brothers Construction seeks an experienced Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to lead the legal function for a growing multi-state organization in construction, reconstruction, restoration, and related services. The CLO will serve as the senior legal advisor to the executive team, shaping enterprise strategy, governance, and risk management across the company.

Qualifications

J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active license in the U.S.
10–15+ years of progressively responsible legal experience, in-house or equivalent
Strong advisory experience to executive leadership and governance expertise
Experience with commercial contracts, litigation management, and regulatory matters
Proven ability to manage outside counsel and large legal matters

Responsabilités

Lead enterprise legal strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
Oversee corporate governance, entity management, and multi-state qualifications.
Manage major construction-related regulatory and licensing matters.
Negotiate significant commercial agreements and contracts.
Direct litigation/dispute management and outside counsel relationships.
