Job summary

AccessHR, Inc. is seeking a Chief, Finance and Operations to serve as a senior financial officer and a member of the C‑Suite, responsible for the integrity of financial systems, reporting, compliance, and internal controls.

This hands-on leadership role partners with the CEO to shape financial strategy and enterprise risk management. This hands-on leader will guide budgeting, audits, treasury, and grants management, oversee the transition from fiscal sponsorship to independent operations, and

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive nonprofit or public-sector accounting/finance experience, including at least 4–5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
CPA preferred; deep working knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit fund accounting.
Experience managing complex, multi-funder budgets, including government/public grants.

Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy and risk management in partnership with the CEO and executive leadership.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, audits, and treasury.
Develop budgets, reports, and grant management.
Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
Lead the transition from fiscal sponsorship to independent operations.
