Job summary

Fort Lauderdale, FL-based Covenant House Florida is seeking a Chief Finance and Operations Officer to lead finance, facilities, and technology across the organization. Reporting to the CEO, you will develop multi-year strategic plans, oversee budgets, ensure governance, and drive financial sustainability for mission delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience at the Controller level or above.
CPA license required.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial management.
Experience implementing ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership for CHF’s finance and accounting functions.
Oversee monthly close, budget comparisons, and trend analyses.
Ensure grant reporting and compliance with funding guidelines.
Develop and monitor financial strategy aligned with mission.
Lead risk management and internal controls.
