Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, chemicals, raw materials, or supply planning within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership of people and cross-functional teams across multiple sites.
• Strong command of negotiations, contracts, supplier economics, market indices, cost modeling and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and day-to-day execution of chemicals and raw-material portfolio; manage sourcing, purchasing, inventory management and material planning.
• Own category strategies, negotiations, contracts, supplier performance and cost-savings delivery.
• Ensure timely execution of tactical activities and intervene during shortages or supplier issues to protect mill operations.
• Lead a small team with potential to expand as portfolio grows; set priorities and ensure follow-through.
