Job summary

The Chandler Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Business Development Area Manager to research new business opportunities, recruit clients, and keep current members engaged. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or bachelor’s in Sales/Business/Marketing preferred plus 3+ years B2B or service sales.
• Association or chamber of commerce experience preferred.
• Knowledge of marketing strategy, sales techniques, and CRM concepts.
• Customer service standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Recruits new members through phone and in-person prospecting and closes sales.
• Retains current members with targeted services and programs.
• Sells advertising and sponsorships for Chamber outlets (eMagazine, events, website, maps).
• Ensures applications and invoicing are completed accurately and timely.
• May serve as staff liaison to Chamber committees.
• Participates in meetings and events as assigned.
• Performs additional duties as required.
