Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time related work experience and a High School Diploma required.
• Understanding of Foodservice industry operations, USDA dietary regulations, and commodities.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong customer service, time management, multi-tasking, 10-key data entry, detail orientation and problem-solving.
• Ability to learn GFS applications and adapt to frequent updates.

Responsibilities

• Answers customer questions, investigates and corrects errors to solve customer problems.
• Manages customer orders (stock and nonstock) via various systems and completes timely callbacks/e-mails.
• Arranges exception deliveries with Transportation, UPS, and third-party services.
• Participates in training of new Chain Accounts Representatives and attends ongoing sessions.
• Builds working relationships with National Account teams and Call Center staff.
• Maintains peer relationships and shares issues/ideas across teams.
• Communicates effective supply chain strategies with distribution centers and logistics.
• Performs other duties as required.
