Qualifications

• Experience in governmental and school accounting and reporting, including EMIS.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with comprehensive fiscal management practices.
• Ability to develop financial forecasts using sound fiscal assumptions.
• Ability to maintain fiscal credibility and communicate financial information to the Board and district leadership.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Board, superintendent, administrators, and staff.
• Knowledge and experience in establishing and maintaining internal accounting controls.
• Familiarity with Ohio school law and school finance.
• Working knowledge and experience with cash management.
• A valid State of Ohio School Treasurer’s License or eligibility to obtain the license.
• Experience as a school treasurer is preferred.
