Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is partnering with a growing engineering firm in Baltimore County, MD, to recruit a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The hybrid role requires strategic leadership, oversees accounting operations, and guides financial planning and reporting.

A CPA is preferred and the candidate will lead a skilled finance team to drive growth. The position offers a competitive base salary of $150,000–$200,000 with bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and flexible work-life

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience including CFO or senior financial leadership.
• Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, providing financial guidance.
• Drive long-term financial planning, reporting, and close processes.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Lead accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and project accounting.
• Mentor the accounting team and strengthen processes and controls.
