Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of work-in-progress reporting, job costing, and construction accounting.
• Hands-on leadership with the ability to operate at both strategic and granular levels.
• Experience improving accounting processes and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounting function, including AP,AR, payroll, financial reporting, and construction accounting.
• Provide hands-on direction to the accounting operation and adapt as the company evolves.
• Oversee WIP reporting, job costing, and other construction-specific financial processes.
• Review workflows, controls, and reports to improve accuracy, consistency, and visibility.
• Support transition to Vista and align finance processes with the system implementation.
• Partner with leaders to explain results and inform business decisions.
• Develop the accounting team and plan an organizational structure for growth.
• Guide change thoughtfully to preserve stability during improvements.
