The Client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with the CEO and executive team, taking full responsibility for financial health, integrity, and growth. This role drives financial strategy, controls, and reporting across the organization from The Client's Pompano Beach, Florida offices.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in senior finance roles within distribution or food sectors, with proven team leadership, M&A exposure, and a data-driven mindset to guide strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in distribution/food-related sectors.
• MBA or CPA preferred; strong strategic acumen, data orientation, and ability to lead high-performing teams.

Responsabilités

• Partner with CEO and leadership to shape financial and operational strategy and control systems.
• Develop financial and tax strategies; report results and risk considerations to owners.
• Monitor and guide strategic plans, define performance metrics, and manage capital requests, budgeting, and financing.
• Streamline reporting and forecasting through technology; oversee insurance and liability matters.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital on a monthly basis; collaborate across departments to optimize financial health.
