Job summary

Lumen seeks a Senior Director of Finance to serve as CFO for its Product & Technology organization. You will provide financial leadership across a portfolio of digital, software, cloud, and technology investments, guiding growth and profitability while maximizing shareholder value.

In this executive role, you will partner with the C-suite to shape long-range plans, prioritize investments, and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Business Finance, or Product Finance.
• Experience supporting SaaS, software, cloud, digital platform, or technology-driven businesses.
• Demonstrated success leading complex P&Ls and driving business performance in large, matrixed organizations.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic planning, investment decisions, and financial performance management.
• Deep understanding of SaaS business models, subscription and consumption economics, and software investment strategies.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate business priorities into actionable financial strategies for Product & Technology.
• Lead financial management across revenue, gross margin, Opex, headcount planning, and capital investments.
• Drive annual and long-range planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Strategy to align financial plans with objectives.
• Provide executive-level insights on portfolio prioritization, profitability, and performance.
• Establish SaaS and digital metrics including recurring revenue, retention, and product profitability.
• Evaluate investments, acquisitions, and digital transformations with disciplined capital allocation.
