Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to serve as CFO and trusted partner for the Product & Technology organization. You will guide financial strategy, long-range planning, and investment prioritization while leading a high-performing finance team in a fast-moving tech environment.

You will collaborate with executive leadership to shape product investments, optimize capital allocation, and drive profitability across cloud, software, and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience in SaaS, software, cloud, or technology-driven businesses.
• Proven success leading complex P&Ls and driving performance.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic planning and finance.
• Deep understanding of SaaS business models, subscription economics, and product development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic finance leader to Product & Technology leadership, translating priorities into financial strategies.
• Oversee revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, headcount, capital investments, EBITDA, and free cash flow.
• Lead annual and long-range planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis for growth and investments.
• Partner with product, engineering, technology, sales, marketing and strategy to align plans with objectives.
• Provide executive insights on portfolio prioritization, profitability, and operational performance.
• Establish and govern SaaS/digital metrics like recurring revenue and product profitability.
• Evaluate investments, product initiatives, acquisitions, and digital programs for ROI.
• Lead a world-class Product Finance organization focused on strategic decision support.
