Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to serve as CFO for the Product & Technology organization, shaping financial strategy across digital, software, cloud, and technology investments. This executive role partners with the leadership team to drive growth, profitability, and shareholder value.

You will lead a high-performing finance organization and influence decisions on product innovation, resource allocation, and long-term growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Business Finance, or Product Finance.
Experience supporting SaaS, software, cloud, digital platform, or technology-driven businesses.
Proven ability to lead complex P&Ls in large, matrixed organizations.
Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic planning and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Serve as strategic finance leader and partner to Product & Technology leadership.
Lead financial management across revenue, gross margin, expenses, headcount planning, and capital investments.
Drive annual and long-range planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Strategy to align financial plans with objectives.
Provide executive-level insights on portfolio prioritization, profitability, and performance.
Establish and govern SaaS and digital business metrics like recurring revenue and product profitability.
Evaluate investments, initiatives, acquisitions, and tech programs for disciplined capital allocation.
Develop and inspire a high-performing Product Finance organization.
