Job summary

Goodwill Of North Florida seeks a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to lead Accounting/Finance, Payroll, and HRIS. This executive reports to the VP of Finance and acts as a strategic partner to execute the organization’s plan and drive key projects.

The CFO will ensure accurate financial operations, governance, and timely reporting across departments, aligning with GAAP and nonprofit regulations while supporting program delivery and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with accounting concentration and 10+ years in accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and auditing practices.
• Experience with payroll and HRIS systems and reporting.
• Understanding regulatory requirements for nonprofit orgs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain an internal accounting system with controls.
• Oversee payroll and HRIS functions and related processes.
• Report financial information timely; support fiscal controls and budget tools.
• Manage treasury and ensure funds availability across sources.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and external reporting requirements.
