Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the accounting and finance function. The role is permanent, targeting a strategic financial leader with 5+ years of senior experience to drive growth and regulatory compliance across the organization.

The CFO will oversee budgeting, forecasting, GAAP compliance, grant management, and financial reporting, while guiding the finance team and reporting to the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CFA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years senior financial leadership experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial controls.
• Experience with financial software and accounting systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making; optimize bank relationships and cash management.
• Develop and execute budgeting and financial forecasting aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee timely, accurate financial reports and GAAP compliance.
• Manage all grants and ensure proper utilization and reporting.
• Lead the finance team and implement finance policies and procedures.
• Ensure financial contracts and grants meet legal and policy requirements.
• Report results to the board and provide expert financial advice.
• Represent the organization with partners, donors, and the public.
• Contribute to new programs and strategic initiatives with financial insights.
• Coordinate audits and maintain high standards of controls and accountability.
