Job summary

Your Money Line seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer to shape finance strategy and operations, engage with the Board, and manage capital and investor relations. You will own budgeting, reporting, tax, and risk management while leading a growing finance team in a remote/hybrid environment.

The role requires extensive leadership in finance with deep expertise in forecasting, fundraising, and cross-functional collaboration to scale the business responsibly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 10+ years in progressive finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in senior leadership (VP Finance, Controller, or CFO).
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to CEO and exec team, shaping strategy and long-term financial direction.
• Refine financial model, ensure accurate planning and forecasting.
• Lead end-to-end fundraising, including financial modeling, IR, and due diligence coordination.
• Oversee relationships with external accounting, tax, and advisory firms.
• Coordinate tax filings and planning with tax firm across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with department heads to create and manage budgets.
• Prepare financial reporting packages for board, investors, and banks.
• Primary contact with investors, banking partners, and Board on financial matters.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and collections.
• Be the point of contact for customer billing inquiries.
• Ensure bookings data reconciles across systems (CRM and billing).
• Administer expense and T&E program including credit card spend limits and expense approvals.
• Consult with sales/CS leadership on pricing to protect margin and value.
• Lead month/quarter/year-end closes, G/L, cash management, and accounting analysis.
• Lead evaluation and management of financial systems and software.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team; hire and develop staff.
• Identify and manage financial and operational risk including insurance, compliance, and internal controls.
