Job summary

FinStrat Management, Inc. seeks a client-facing Chief Financial Officer to lead client engagements as a virtual CFO and help scale the company and its clients.

You will implement controls, frameworks, policies and systems to capture timely data, oversee budgeting, forecasting, closing, and analyze results to guide growth.

Additionally you will manage fundraising, debt facilities, liquidity and collaborate with CROs and legal partners to ensure five-star service and growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of financial leadership experience at a growing SaaS or software company.
• Solid understanding of software revenue recognition and SaaS metrics.
• Experience scaling processes and infrastructure for growth (organic and inorganic).
• Experience in leading fundraising efforts at a growth-stage company.

Responsibilities

• Manage FSM client engagements as a virtual Chief Financial Officer.
• Provide insights on growth strategy and financial implications of major decisions.
• Implement controls, policies, and systems for timely, accurate data across clients.
• Analyze financial results, variances to plan, trends, and key metrics.
• Lead financial transactions including financing, acquisitions, facilities, partnerships.
• Manage cash utilization and debt facilities to ensure liquidity.
• Collaborate with CROs and sales on contracts and processes.
• Liaise with clients and outside legal counsel; oversee stock option and benefit plans.
• Direct FSM staff on client engagements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Provide five-star client service.
