Job summary

Staff Financial Group is seeking a hands-on CFO who will own the financial strategy as the company scales from $20 million to $100 million in revenue. This role partners with the CEO to deploy capital, evaluate acquisitions, and build the financial infrastructure for rapid growth.

The ideal leader will mentor the finance team, optimize profitability, and implement scalable systems and processes while driving strategic decision-making and risk management.

Qualifications

• CFO or senior financial leadership in a growth-focused private company.
• Proven track record of growing revenue and profitability.
• Strong M&A, cash management, and investment experience.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
• Experience implementing scalable systems and processes.
• Proven ability to lead accounting and finance teams.
• Executive presence with decisive, results-driven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to develop and execute growth strategy from $20M to $100M.
• Lead cash management, capital allocation, forecasting, and investment analysis.
• Evaluate and support M&A opportunities, including modeling and due diligence.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, margins, and productivity.
• Strengthen financial reporting, systems, controls, and technology, including automation and AI.
• Mentor and develop the Controller and accounting team.
• Provide strategic recommendations on growth, financing, and risk.
• Develop a 90-day and longer-term scaling roadmap.
