Job summary

Pierre Landscape in Irwindale, CA is seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team and own all financial operations. You will partner with the President to steer growth, scale financial systems, and optimize supply chain economics across accounting, purchasing, and fleet.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years of financial leadership in construction or project-based industries, with 5+ years at the CFO/Controller level, and a CPA or MBA strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in construction or project-based industries.
• 5+ years at Controller or CFO level within construction or related fields.
• GAAP, full-cycle construction accounting, and WIP reporting expertise.
• Experience with purchasing, fleet management, and supply chain economics.

Responsibilities

• Formulate the long-term financial strategy and growth initiatives with executive leadership.
• Oversee accounting, purchasing, and fleet departments; manage cash flow and budgeting.
• Lead construction accounting, project reporting, and job costing architectures.
• Direct annual budgeting, variance analysis and multi-year forecasting.
• Mentor department managers and establish performance metrics.
