Superior Rigging & Erecting is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership and guide the organization through its next growth phase. The CFO will partner with the CEO, Board, and senior leaders, bringing strong finance leadership across budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and project costing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• 5+ years in senior financial executive roles within complex operating organizations.
• Demonstrated leadership of Finance and Accounting functions.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital, treasury, reporting, controls, and capital planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience partnering with CEOs, boards, and senior operating leaders.
• Strong executive presence and ability to challenge business assumptions.
• Proven track record of improving financial performance, systems, controls, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior financial advisor to CEO, President, Board, and executive leadership.
• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Oversee construction accounting, WIP, job costing, cost-to-complete forecasting, and revenue recognition.
• Partner with Operations and Project Management to understand project profitability and risk.
• Identify margin deterioration and financial risks early for leadership intervention.
• Lead cash-flow forecasting, treasury, working capital management, and banking relationships.
• Maintain surety, bonding, and lending relationships; manage capital planning.
• Evaluate major capital investments in assets and facilities.
• Understand labor structures, CBAs, and labor obligations; ensure compliance.
• Establish strong financial controls, data integrity, and segregation of duties.
• Improve financial systems, automation, and scalability.
• Build and lead a high-performing Finance organization.
• Provide leadership with actionable insight beyond historical reporting.
