Job summary
KidStrong Milpitas is seeking a General Manager to lead our Milpitas center, driving pre-sale momentum, hiring a coaching team, and delivering an exceptional family experience. You will build local partnerships, manage the center’s operations, and guide revenue growth while maintaining KidStrong standards.
The role demands an athletic coaching background, strong leadership, and comfort in communicating with families.
Qualifications
- Athletic and/or coaching background with experience with young children (15 months to 11 years).
- Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
- Complete required LearnUpon trainings before opening.
- Comfortable speaking with parents/guardians about program details.
- Prior management experience is required.
- Proficient with Google and Microsoft platforms.
- Experience with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP, and FranConnect preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own pre-sale momentum and lead generation to enroll families.
- Build community presence and partner outreach in the local area.
- Recruit, screen, and onboard coaching staff ahead of opening.
- Oversee center operations, scheduling, and staffing post-opening.
- Drive sales, enrollments, and event bookings for the center.
- Lead weekly team meetings and coaching development.
- Ensure compliance with KidStrong curriculum and culture.
