Job summary

KidStrong Milpitas seeks a General Manager to lead the center, drive pre-opening momentum, build community presence, and deliver an exceptional experience for families and coaches.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage sales and center operations, and work with HQ to certify and align with KidStrong standards. This role requires hands-on leadership and a passion for children’s development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Athletic/coaching background with kids aged 15 months - 11 years.
• Strong passion for working with children.
• Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training.
• Complete LearnUpon training as required by HQ.
• Comfortable speaking with parents/guardians.
• Previous management experience is required.
• Proficient with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP and FranConnect.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques and body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Own pre-opening momentum and enrollment targets; lead from day one.
• Build community presence through events and partnerships.
• Recruit, screen, and onboard coaches before opening.
• Complete HQ Coach and GM certifications; travel to Frisco, TX.
• Oversee operations, KPIs, and customer service post-opening.
• Lead staff meetings, training, and brand standards.
• Schedule coaches and manage events to maximize profitability.
