Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Category Sourcing Manager to lead category management for major capital projects spanning Pre-development through commissioning. You will craft sourcing strategies, run RFI/RFP processes, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize spend and governance.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, 7+ years in sourcing for large projects, and the ability to influence senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of sourcing/procurement for major capital projects.
• Experience spanning Pre-development through Commissioning spend.
• Ability to negotiate contracts and influence senior management.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead category management across Pre-development, Construction, EPC, Utilities and Commissioning categories.
• Develop supplier profiles and sourcing strategies; manage RFI/RFP processes.
• Perform spend analysis and identify opportunities; drive cost savings.
• Negotiate, review and implement contractual arrangements per policy.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enable governance and procurement execution.
