Job summary

Accuray, based in Madison, WI, seeks a procurement professional to lead category management initiatives. This hybrid role requires onsite presence at least two days per week and close collaboration with stakeholders to define value and drive cost savings.

You will develop spend analyses, manage RFx processes, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance. Domestic and international travel up to 15% is expected; candidates must be authorized to work without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• MBA or Graduate Degree in related field.
• 7+ years of industry experience in sourcing, supply chain, procurement, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in organizational sourcing transformation and/or change management for category management implementations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years working with Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems or ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Proven negotiation and contract management experience with risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME to develop and implement category management strategies and engage stakeholders to clarify required value.
• Develop spend analyses and quality protocols to support baseline category management efforts.
• Lead category meetings, charter development, and governance processes.
• Source-to-pay process optimization including RFx, RFP, RFQ, RFIs and supplier negotiations.
• Drive savings initiatives and monitor pipeline against targets.
• Establish quarterly business reviews with key suppliers and communicate savings.
