Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Raleigh, NC seeks a Category/Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing across assigned spend areas for North America. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and drive cost reduction while ensuring supply continuity for power grid projects.

Collaborate with proposal, project execution, engineering, and global category teams to improve supplier performance, quality, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced tender environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in strategic category management or sourcing within multinational companies.
• Ability to drive cost reduction and supplier performance improvements.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and legal.
• Proven negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Understanding of power automation or industrial equipment a plus.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories to improve TCO and supplier performance.
• Negotiate contracts, SLAs, pricing, lead times, and supplier agreements.
• Lead supplier qualification, risk assessments, audits, and supplier development.
• Support RFQ activities, bidding, and project budgeting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure material availability and delivery performance.
