Job summary

Intuitive, a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery, is seeking a Senior Category Manager to oversee electronics supplier relationships and strategic sourcing. You will develop category roadmaps, negotiate contracts, and drive cost improvements while aligning with NPI and production needs.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage supplier performance, and advance lean procurement practices to ensure material availability and optimal inventory. Travel ~25% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent; 10+ years in supply chain in manufacturing.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead category management for electronics supply base.
• Provide cross-functional team leadership within categories.
• Collaborate to develop long-term supplier roadmaps and actions.
• Co-lead supplier selection with Supplier Engineering.
• Align production supplier needs with NPI for uninterrupted supply.
• Prioritize projects and track team goals.
• Present category strategy reviews to stakeholders.
• Manage supplier scorecards and business reviews.
• Drive cost reduction and value-improvement initiatives.
• Mentor colleagues and drive process improvements.
