Job summary

CAIRE Inc. is seeking an experienced Associate Category Manager to oversee strategic procurement for essential medical device instruments. You will build knowledge of markets and suppliers, working with internal and external stakeholders to maximize value and reduce risk.

You will support category strategies, participate in sourcing, negotiate contracts under guidance, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and delivery. Strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in procurement, supply chain, or planning in manufacturing.
• 1–2 years in category management, commodity management, or strategic sourcing.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relations for quality, cost, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategy development and supplier identification.
• Participate in strategic sourcing and supplier selection processes.
• Negotiate contracts and purchase terms under guidance of senior category management.
• Monitor supplier performance to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
