Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Category Manager in Dublin, OH to inform business strategy by assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition. You will collaborate across teams to deliver sales, profitability and inventory productivity for designated categories.

You will own category assortment planning, review planograms, and drive category promotional plans while maintaining strong supplier relationships to improve financial results and market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1-4 years of store level merchandising and retail background preferred.
• Experience with market data/consumer research (Nielsen/IRI) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross functional collaboration with pricing, marketing, legal, planning, inventory management, finance, and sales to meet customer expectations.
• Develop and deploy strategic category plans and merchandising programs to deliver results.
• Own category assortment planning and planogram review process.
• Initiate and drive execution of category promotional plans.
• Maintain supplier relationships and optimize product portfolio.
