Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking an Analyst, Category Strategy & Insights in Chicago. The role leverages Circana, Numerator, POS, and internal data to deliver analytics that translate into actionable recommendations on assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotion.

Responsibilities include routine and ad hoc reporting, shopper behavior analysis, and creating customer-ready insights using Power BI and PowerPoint. Location is Chicago/Aon Center with a standard base salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Analytical capability with large datasets and clear insights.
• Experience with retail POS, syndicated or panel data.
• Strong Excel and Power BI proficiency.
• Clear written and verbal communication for audience storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine reporting and ad hoc analyses using data sources to identify trends.
• Analyze shopper behavior and category dynamics.
• Integrate data sources to develop a holistic view of performance.
• Translate analyses into customer-ready storytelling and insights in PowerPoint/Power BI.
• Develop recommendations on distribution, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotion.
• Partner with customer teams to align on objectives and deliver insights for decisions.
• Contribute to team capability and repeatable reporting frameworks.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines with discipline.
