Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago is seeking an Analyst, Category Strategy & Insights to translate shopper, POS, and syndicated data into actionable category stories across assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions. You will support space analytics and planogram-informed recommendations grounded in shopper behavior.

You will integrate multiple data sources (Circana, Numerator, retailer data) and craft customer-ready storytelling in PowerPoint using Power BI visuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Statistics or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated analytical capability with large datasets and clear insights.
• Experience with retail POS, syndicated and/or panel data and Power BI or similar.
• Strong Excel data manipulation and analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with PowerPoint storytelling.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine reporting and ad hoc analyses using customer, syndicated, and panel data to identify trends and opportunities in category performance.
• Analyze shopper behavior and category dynamics, including purchase frequency, penetration, cross-shop, and demographics.
• Integrate multiple data sources to develop a holistic view of category and shopper performance.
• Translate analyses into clear, customer-ready storytelling and insights using PowerPoint and Power BI visuals.
• Develop recommendations on distribution, assortment, shelving/space productivity, merchandising, pricing, and promotions.
• Partner with customer teams and internal stakeholders to address business questions and deliver actionable insights.
• Contribute to team capability building by standardizing reporting and insights frameworks.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines, prioritizing to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
