Rolls-Royce is seeking a Lead Casting Buyer - Strategic Purchasing to manage supplier selection and contract negotiations for casting commodities. The role emphasizes cost analysis, global sourcing strategies, and close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

The position is hybrid, located in Novi, MI or Aiken, SC, with a minimum 3 days on-site and relocation assistance if applicable. Strong analytical and negotiation skills are essential to drive cost improvements and meet program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Management, Materials Management, or Business Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in strategic procurement with a focus on casting commodities.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work flexible hours.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier selection for casting commodities, evaluate new suppliers, collect offers, and make awards.
• Lead and document negotiations, including framework agreements on quality, capacity, cost reimbursements, and logistics.
• Oversee external procurement for cast components up to series production release.
• Perform cost and price analyses for cast parts and support development with suppliers.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities specific to casting materials and processes.
